Stuart Capewell
John Lennon / Paul McCartney
Born near Liverpool, Stuart Capewell is a highly accomplished multi-instrumentalist whose professional career spans the UK, Europe and Australia. Equally proficient on guitar, piano and bass, Stuart combines exceptional musicianship with a powerful vocal range ideally suited to The Beatles.
He has performed at iconic Beatles venues including Liverpool’s world-famous Cavern Club and Hamburg’s Star Club, as well as major theatres and live venues across Europe.
Stuart also enjoyed success as a solo artist, appearing on UK radio and sharing stages with artists including The Stands, Space, Cast and The La’s.
Since relocating to Australia in 2010 and joining The Australian Beatles in 2017, Stuart has brought his extensive international experience and authentic Beatles musicianship to the band.
Samual Palmer
John Lennon / George Harrison
Samuel Palmer is an accomplished guitarist, vocalist and educator whose passion for The Beatles began at an early age. He formally trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where he studied for a Bachelor of Music, combining formal musical training with extensive live performance experience.
Samuel is also the founder of Palmer Music School, a contemporary music academy established in 2022 with a focus on making music engaging, inspiring and accessible.
Joining The Australian Beatles in 2025, Samuel brings exceptional musicianship, precision and energy to the roles of John Lennon and George Harrison, adding a fresh and highly accomplished dimension to the band’s sound.
Tommy Jennis

A founding member of The Australian Beatles, Tommy Jennis is an exceptionally versatile performer with an impressive career in Beatles tribute and live entertainment.
Renowned for his authentic portrayals of Paul McCartney and John Lennon, Tommy has also performed as iconic artists including Mick Jagger, Cliff Richard and David Bowie. His career has included touring alongside acts such as The Searchers, Herman’s Hermits, The Drifters and Boney M.
A gifted multi-instrumentalist on guitar, bass and keyboards, Tommy combines outstanding musicianship with charisma, humour and an unmistakable stage presence, making him a standout performer at the heart of The Australian Beatles.
Lachie Hanley
George Harrison
Lachlan Hanley is an accomplished guitarist and performer, graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Contemporary Music.
Alongside The Australian Beatles, Lachlan works as a guitar educator and is a key member of the acclaimed Pink Floyd tribute production TIME, demonstrating his versatility as a musician and performer.
Joining The Australian Beatles in 2025, Lachlan stepped into the role of George Harrison, bringing both the distinctive tone and understated musicality required to authentically recreate Harrison’s work.
His performances bring Beatles classics such as Here Comes the Sun and Something vividly to life.
David Swan
Ringo Starr (& Band Manager)
David Swan is a founding member of The Australian Beatles and the driving force behind the band’s continued success. Since the band’s formation in 2010, he has combined performing as Ringo Starr with managing bookings, logistics and international touring.
Originally from London, David began his professional music career at just 16 and went on to perform, record and produce alongside major artists including Status Quo. His recording career has included sessions at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
David relocated to Australia in 2002 and has built The Australian Beatles into an internationally recognised tribute act, with more than 100 cruise ship bookings and performances throughout Australia and Asia.
He is also the Australian Ambassador for Liverpool’s The Beatles Story exhibition, where he is featured in character as Ringo.
