Stuart Capewell – John / Paul
Born in within a stones-throw of Liverpool, Stuart Capewell is a highly accomplished and versatile musician whose career spans decades of professional performance across the UK, Europe and Australia.
Equally proficient on guitar, piano and bass, Stuart combines instrumental mastery with a powerful high vocal range ideally suited to the intricate harmonies of The Beatles. His deep musical understanding and stylistic authenticity make him a standout performer within the genre.
Stuart has performed extensively in premier Beatles venues, including the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool and the Star Club in Hamburg, as well as theatres and major live venues throughout Europe.
As a solo artist, he gained recognition on UK radio and shared stages with respected acts such as The Stands, Space, Cast and The La’s. He continues to write and record original material, collaborating with leading artists including Chris Helme of The Seahorses.
Since relocating to Australia in 2010 and joining The Australian Beatles in 2017, Stuart has brought a wealth of international experience, musical depth and professionalism that continues to elevate the band’s sound and reputation.
Samuel Palmer – John / George
Samuel Palmer is a highly skilled guitarist, vocalist and educator whose musical journey began at the age of ten, inspired by a lifelong immersion in The Beatles’ music.
Formally trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where he studied for a Bachelor of Music, Samuel combines strong academic grounding with real-world performance expertise. His playing is defined by precision, feel and an instinctive connection to the music he performs.
As both a dedicated teacher and performer, Samuel is deeply immersed in music every day. In 2022, he founded Palmer Music School, a contemporary-focused academy built on the philosophy that music should be engaging, inspiring and fun.
Joining The Australian Beatles in 2025, Samuel brings fresh energy and musical sophistication to the roles of John Lennon and George Harrison. His commitment to continual growth and excellence ensures performances of the highest calibre—on stage and beyond.
Tommy Jennis – Paul / John
A founding member of The Australian Beatles, Tommy Jennis brings exceptional pedigree and star quality to the stage. Before starting with the band, he honed his craft in leading Beatles tribute productions, developing a reputation for authenticity and electrifying performance.
Widely regarded as one of the most versatile tribute artists in the world, Tommy’s uncanny portrayals extend beyond Paul McCartney and John Lennon to include iconic figures such as Mick Jagger, Cliff Richard and David Bowie. His ability to embody these legends with remarkable accuracy sets him apart internationally.
Tommy’s career also includes extensive touring alongside renowned acts including The Searchers, Herman’s Hermits, The Drifters and Boney M, reflecting both his musicianship and professional standing in the industry.
A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Tommy commands guitar, bass and keyboards with equal authority. Combined with his dynamic stage presence, natural charisma and playful wit, he delivers performances that are both musically outstanding and hugely entertaining.
Lachlan Hanley – George
A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, Lachlan is an accomplished guitarist and performer with a strong reputation across Perth’s music scene.
Alongside his work with The Australian Beatles, Lachlan is a dedicated educator, teaching guitar across multiple secondary schools and helping to shape the next generation of musicians.
He is also a key member of the highly regarded Pink Floyd tribute production TIME, further demonstrating his versatility and ability to authentically recreate iconic music.
Joining The Australian Beatles in 2025, Lachlan stepped seamlessly into the role of George Harrison—a role perfectly suited to his style, tone and musical sensibility. His performances capture both the spirit and subtlety of Harrison’s work, bringing timeless songs such as Here Comes The Sun and Something vividly to life.
David Swan – Ringo / Band Manager
David Swan is a founding member of The Australian Beatles and the driving force behind the band’s continued success, both on and off the stage. Since the band’s formation in 2010, he has combined his role as Ringo Starr with the responsibilities of band manager, overseeing bookings, logistics and international touring.
Originally from London, David built an impressive career in the UK music industry before relocating to Australia in 2002. He signed his first record deal at just 16 and went on to perform, record and produce across a wide range of projects, including work with major artists such as Status Quo.
His extensive recording experience includes sessions at the legendary Abbey Road Studios—an achievement that reflects both his professionalism and standing within the industry.
A passionate Beatles devotee, David also serves as the Australian Ambassador for Liverpool’s world-renowned The Beatles Story exhibition, where he is featured in character as Ringo. His lifelong dedication to the music and legacy of The Beatles is evident in every performance, anchoring the band with authenticity, experience and unmistakable groove.
